Estancia Pichu-Có
|
Pichu-Có is an ‘estancia’ of 15.000 acres (6.000 hectares) located 90 miles (140 Km) west of Santa Rosa, capital city of La Pampa. Carro Quemado, the closest town, is 12 miles (18 Km) away.
The ranch is privately owned and has been run for the past 18 years by Carlos de Inza, an experienced hunter and his family, whose hospitality and knowledge of hunting and wildlife will make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. Conservation and management of wildlife populations are an integral part of this operation.
It offers excellent hunting, a family atmosphere, good food (the Angus beef produced on the property is very good indeed!) and comfortable lodging. English spoken.
Hunters stay in a lodge with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a sitting room and dining room. Visitors are met at the international airport in Buenos Aires. There are flights from Buenos Aires to Santa Rosa (375 miles/600 km.) 3 times a week, which last about one and a half hours, and the drive from Santa Rosa to Pichu-Có takes another one and a half hours.
Every visitor receives the personal attention of the farm’s owners, who will plan the hunt to suit each client’s individual requirements. For non hunting companions there is horse riding, cattle drives, game viewing, bird watching and outings to places of interest in the area (a small archaeological museum in Carro Quemado, an artist’s studio/museum, arts and crafts centers). |
